Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah is the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment appointed by President Buhari in 2015 to oversee all policy-making and implementation relating to industrialisation of the economy, development of small and medium scale enterprises, promotion of exports, foreign and direct investment, and expansion of trade. He is a medical doctor and was the Chief Executive Officer, Partner and Co- founder of the African Capital Alliance (ACA), a private equity firm which was founded in 1997.
The overall objective of the Ministry is to ensure that implementation of policies lead to inclusive growth of the economy, wealth and job creation, poverty reduction and enhanced service delivery in a manner that will stimulate domestic economic growth and ensure the country’s self-reliance in export
As the Minister heading the portfolio, his vision is to work with all relevant stakeholders, government, private sectors and agencies to create an enabling environment to attract local and foreign investors and boost the economy of the country.
At the 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium, he will be speaking on ”Next Level Industrialisation: Special Economic Zones – Spotlight on MINE (Made in Nigeria for Export)”
