Madam Finda Koroma is a lawyer and Management Consultant. She is called to the Bar of England and Wales, and has over 27 years of experience at Senior Levels in the Public and Private Sectors. She is the Vice President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, a position she has held since March 2018. As Vice President, she supports the President in fulfilling the ECOWAS mandate, and is in charge of enhancing coordination within the institu- tion, including in the areas of monitoring and evalua- tion, strategic planning and relations with other ECOW- AS institutions.
Prior to her appointment at the ECOWAS Commission, she was an Executive Director at F.K.Consulting Ltd,Tex- as, U.S.A. which provided consulting services for clients including Exxon-Mobil in Angola, Enron Corporation in Ghana, United Nations Development Programme’s En- terprise Africa initiative in Africa, Texas-Angola Coali- tion and to various African countries including Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia and some state governments in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She was also Manager, African Affairs at BHP Billiton, Johannesburg, South Africa, Coordinator Social Fund of the Democratic Republic of Congo based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Commercial Director, Amoco Corporation based in Texas, United States.
She obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and has a Mas- ter of Laws Degree in International Law from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, United Kingdom. She also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Harvard Business School.
