Mohammed Brimah is a native of Ilorin, Kwara State. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
He is currently the Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation under the office of the Vice President. Prior to his appointment he was also appointed as the Special Assistant to the President on Internally Displaced Persons under the Office of the Vice President from 2015-2019. In his experience as an entrepreneur, he served as the CEO of Buy Direct, an online logistics and procurement company he founded in 2008.
In addition, he has to his credit various projects he has delivered in his time at the Presidency. One of which was the establishment of the North East Humanitarian Hub founded in 2017 – a Government supported, private sector-led Hub set up to foster growth and employment, partnership between creative youths and citizens of the North-East zone, and to influence the development of innovation services and products that will be focused on providing innovative solutions to humanitarian problems faced in the region. He was also a vendor for the Niger Delta Amnesty Program from 2011 to 2013 training ex-militants on vocational skills needed to help them improve their standard of living and fit in better in the society.
Through his devoted commitment to philanthropy and giving back to his community, Mohammed founded the Mo Brimah Foundation in Kwara State, Nigeria where he has contributed to securing job opportunities for graduates, purchasing of UTME forms for people seeking admission into the university, payment of schools fees, offsetting medical bills for the less privileged and many more.
